Dodgeball tournament draws students out for a night of competition and community (PHOTOS)
The King's College Events Committee hosted a dodgeball tournament at the Leman School of Manhattan Friday night. Students formed two teams and played seven games. Maxine Fileta and Annie Smith of the The King's College Events Committee refereed to ensure fairness and proper play. Fileta, Director of Student Events, reported a turnout of 120 students.
Smith and the Events Committee planned the dodgeball tournament in response to a Facebook survey asking students which athletic activity they would most enjoy playing as a school. Smith said she “was happy that people had fun,” though she wishes attendance had been higher.
