EDITORIAL GUIDELINES

  1. Pitch a story to the section editor correlating to the topic idea.

  2. Once approved, write the story. Ask the editor if you have any questions. Record any interviews you have with sources and provide accurate quotes in the article.

  3. Share the story with your editor through Google Docs and allow them to edit. While they work on your story, email them pictures for your story with captions and photo credits.

Typically our stories are about 800 words long and should be written for an audience of college-aged students.

IMAGES

Please ensure that you have at least 3 images. Images must be Jpg files 1500 pixels across at the smallest dimension (1500 px in height for portrait images and 1500 px wide for landscape images) and must be 800 kilobytes (kb) in size or below.
