Powderpuff and pie: TKC welcomes fall with its second annual picnic

The King's College student body gathered in Prospect Park Sunday, Sept. 27, to enjoy the second annual Fall Picnic, hosted by the Student Events Committee. Afternoon festivities included a powderpuff football tournament, pie baking contest and spirit contests. Director of Student Events, Stefanie Gardner led the Events Committee in planning and hosting the picnic.

Students Carlos Santos ('17), Tim Stratton ('17), Josh Durnell ('15), Taylor Thompson ('17) and Grant Figari ('16) refereed this year's powderpuff tournament.

The House of Queen Elizabeth I hikes the ball to quarterback, Abby Narbe ('18). The House of QE1 came in second in the powderpuff tournament and won the "Loudest & Proudest" spirit competition.
